We walked down to the beach, Sand made it all the way there without a stop and the same on the way back.

Went with Iranu( taxi driver) to collect Karen and Steve from Dabolim, they arrived about one and a half hours behind the original schedule and about half an hour behind the revised time. The changes did not matter because it gave us time to go into Panjim so I could collect my shirts. We also had time to stop for a drink and while away some time in a cafe over looking the estuary. We had soft drinks and they were about half the price we pay locally.
The trafic came as a bit of a culture shock to our new arrivals. The taxi overtaking a bus on a two lane bridge with a lorry coming the other way, I think, caused a few palpitations. However there was at least six to ten feet to spare.
I have had no Internet connection for a few days now so I took my dongle into Calangute to check that it was OK. It turns out that my verification has been cancelled and to reactivate it I have to go to the Reliance main office with all my documents so that they can verify me. By the time this is done there will not be much time left so I don’t think I will bother. I imagine they let it go for about three weeks or so, which would suit the average hollidaymaker, then if you are still using the connection they need to check that you are not a nefarious user.
Stayed around the apartment then went to Arpoura for our meal in the evening. As we finished quite early it gave me the chance to hop a taxi and go to the Riverside to order some of the food for Friday. On the way we got tangled up in another election rally.
Low profile days loafing around the apartment and as we are not traveling about this time there will not be to much to report.

I will have to have words, on our return, with o2 as we are unable to make phone calls. Texting is OK, just like last time, but I was assured that I would be able to make calls.
