Trip fromTombstone

Day 6 Thursday

Looked at Boothill before we set off for our circular tour.

The first stage was on dirt roads to the highway 191
Then across to the Chiricanhua National Monument, which is an old Ranch up in the mountains that is preserved “by the American people so that all may experience our heritage” After the old buildings you continue up through spectacular scenery to view points that look out over vast tracts of the country. Photos do not do anything to show the real vastness.

After coming back down out of the park, we set off up the Pinery canyon road, a track that takes you across the Chiricahua Mountains ( over 9,700 feet ) .
No photos to busy thinking about where I'm going .
Back to Tombstone.
