Day 11
Had our breakfast out (at Kennys, fresh pineapple juice, scrambled eggs for Sand and fried eggs on toast for me.)whilst the apartment was being cleaned.
First task to collect my glasses, not ready, try tomorrow evening.
I spent some time trying to book into an hotel in Bangalore, as our contact has been out of touch, therfore not being able to book any thing for us. I have emailed confirming the reservation but have not had a confirmation of the confirmation. Fingers crossed!
Lunch was going to be at The Pearl at Baga Beach but it was not open as it was catering for a Church do. Because the Pearl was closed we went to the Shining Star, the beach hut we used when we were here with Chris and Pam, the waiter who served us on our first visit, Reddy, was still there and claimed to recognise us.
In the afternoon we went in to Panjim to collect my shirts and Sandys' skirt.
We then hung about a bit and met up with our friend Audhut and had a lovely meal on a terrace overlooking the Mandovi River.
Then back to bed
